WELCA is a not-for-profit society run by a small staff group supplemented with the support and assistance of many volunteers. 

Seven Ways to Volunteer with WELCA:

  1. Horses - Donate to support our lesson horses.  

  2. Fundraisers - Help with events like tea parties, casinos, 50-50 raffles, chocolate sales, silent auctions, delivering donor letters, picking up donations and writing thank-you cards.

  3. Landscape - Paint, repair, clean and restore buildings and fences.

  4. Schools and Clubs – Assist staff with field trips and tours for all ages from schools and clubs.

  5. Public Events and Programs – Help with registrations and prepare the community areas, horses and equipment. Events include riding lessons, art and photography courses, massage therapy, first aid, skill demonstrations and horse shows, and more.

  6. Summer Camps - youth ages 13 -18 who have previous horse experience are needed to lead and sidewalk with campers in our July and August summer camps. Contact info@welca.ca
