Unmounted Party

Participants: Up to 20 (Ages 4+)

Pricing: $300 for up to 10 participants

            $500 for up to 20 participants

Duration: 3 hours

An unmounted party is great for a medium sized group! Participants will get 1 hour of interaction with the horses, petting, grooming, and feeding, along with 1 hours of games, a craft, and/or tour of the farm!

Our unmounted parties are always lots of fun! You get private access to our Classroom for one hour- this is a great time for cake and presents or coffee and visits, 45 minutes of craft time, 45 minutes of hands on horse interaction or grooming, and then 30 minutes of games led by one of our crew. While there is no riding during these parties you get to spend a lot of time learning and bonding with the horses.

Facility Tour

Participants: Unlimited

Pricing: $5 per participant, min $100

Duration: 2 hours

An affordable option for very large groups. Spend a couple of hours together exploring the historical buildings, discussing horse care and behaviour, and touring of the barns and tack room and feed room.

Riding Party

Participants: Up to 6 (Ages 4+)

Pricing: Up to 4 riders- $400 (miniumum) 

5 riders: $500

6 riders: $600

Duration: 3 hours

We love riding parties! Whether its for a birthday, an anniversary, or just for fun, we can't wait to have you join us in the arena for some fun games with our horses! Our mounted parties offer you one hour in the Classroom, you can use this time for cake and presents, games, or just to visit, then half an hour with one of our Teacher's Assistants getting ready to ride, followed by an hour in the arena for a lesson with one of our instructors, and then half an hour to learn about brushing your horse and feeding them a treat. Don't worry, we don't expect you to do this all on your own! Our mounted parties are on lead so that you can relax and learn without any worries. In your lesson you'll learn to walk, trot, steer, and stop your horse through fun patterns and games. 

Our barn is a busy place so we'll do our best to work with you to find a date to plan your party. Please choose your preferred date and one of our team will be in touch to plan your party!

Field Trip

Participants: Up to 40 (Ages 4+)

Pricing: $20/person, min $400

Duration: 3 hours

Book your class, daycare kids, etc. for a day of fun at the farm! They'll have a chance to interact with the horses on the ground, feed treats, watch demonstrations, play games, and learn about horses! 

We do our best to customize our field trips for your group! Our usual field trip includes a tour of the property and hands on horses time. During the tour we talk about the horses, their care, and the history of the property. Then we'd go get our helmets and boots on before heading to the barn to learn how to approach, groom, and maybe even massage the horses. For larger groups we can run seperate stations on a rotation so that everyone gets quality time with the horses. Depending on the age and interests of the group we could talk about adding in a craft or some team building exercises, of course this would depend on facility availability as well.

Corporate Team Building

Participants: Up to 20

Cost: $30/person min $300

Duration: 2 hours + 1 hour rental space

Bring your team together in a unique and exciting way! We will provide opportunities to exhibit leadership, work together, and have fun all facilitated through our horses. 1 hr meeting space is included in this rental if requested.

Outdoor Tournament/Event

Looking to hold a tournament, game, or regular practice session for soccer, flag football, or other sport? We offer a prime location in the heart of the city featuring a facility with mens and womens washroom, PA system, and kitchenette, beside a large, flat, well-maintained grass field. Wedding

Put a unique twist on your special day by hosting your wedding at WELCA! As a venue, we offer a variety of customization options based on your needs including a horse guest at the event, variety of locations to hold the service, and overnight camping.
