Learn to Ride Lesson Program
About the WELCA Learn to Ride
The WELCA Learn to Ride program provides participants with foundational skills for horseback riding.
People who complete out Learn to Ride programs get priority choice in other programs such as our Horsemanship or Volunteer Program. The WELCA Learn to Ride program is for those aged 8 and older. As a general rule earlier classes are made up of younger ages and later classes are usually made up of adults.

1. The Rookie Program runs 4 weeks and offers a taste of the basics.
2. The Introductory Program is the perfect starting place for new or summer camp riders.
